Dear Freedom Suite is a band I toured Japan with which drew from Sonny Rollins's Epic recording Freedom Suite.

Its historic message of defiance was captured by a statement made by Sonny Rollins on the album cover which expressed a personal voice to support the international efforts of human rights and highlight the backlash upon the Civil Rights movement in the United States still soddened with Jim Crow violence and terror.
